China’s peace plan blurs roles of aggressor and victim, says Brussels

  1. Why keep saying it’s a plan? It’s a list of rather vague general principles, nowhere near an actionable plan.

  2. I think it’s a face-saving measure to induce Putin to get on board.
Zelenskyy is willing to entertain the plan knowing how important it is for Putin to save face in front of his countrymen.

  3. China needs to be cut out of our supply chains and investments… they have always been out to destroy us, they have said it themselves over and over again, yet we refuse to believe what they themselves are saying? WTF is wrong with us?

  4. And China has stolen more intellectual property than any other nation in history, STILL currently commits human rights violations and interment camps against a minority like nazis, controls almost every aspect of their citizens “freedom”, and actively tries to take territory that isn’t theirs. Not to mention if you want to talk about history China’s track record is filled with mass genocide.

  5. Peace? Can’t have that.

What needs to happen is sending more arms, at taxpayer’s expense, for as long as it takes…

Never mind that about as many people voted to be involved in this war as voted for the woman in the picture.

  6. They need those vodka sluts to come out of this ok in order to keep the US occupied in the Atlantic. Without multipolar distractions, a full pivot to the Pacific would be too much for China.

  7. If Selensky is smart he says …now right now fighter jets and long range missiles or i let china have the cudos for peace..

    You have 48 hours..

  8. >10. Stopping unilateral sanctions. Unilateral sanctions and maximum pressure cannot solve the issue; they only create new problems. China opposes unilateral sanctions unauthorized by the UN Security Council. Relevant countries should stop abusing unilateral sanctions and “long-arm jurisdiction” against other countries, so as to do their share in deescalating the Ukraine crisis and create conditions for developing countries to grow their economies and better the lives of their people.

Someone should explain to the CCP what “unilateral” means. 90% of the developed world being on the same page with sanctions is definitely not “unilateral”.

    >Unauthorized by the UN security council

…so China wants the countries applying sanctions against Russia, to get permission from Russia first. This chabuduo peace “plan” is less than worthless, just like any other agreement with China.
