This seems to very transparently be an advertisement for a food company.
Quite the mugshot at the bottom of the article too.
Lemon, sugar and raisins is better. You put the raisins into the batter first though.
Here’s how this one probably goes if you got a follow-up question:
Q: What’s your favourite pancake topping?
A: Lemon and sugar, obviously!
Q: OK, and have you actually ever *tried* any other toppings?
A: …no
Pancakes are crap anyway. The thicker scotch ones are decent but still nothing amazing
Lately I’ve been adding raisans and lemon zest to my pancake batter. It is very good. I strongly recommend.
I don’t know what I’d have on crepes but actual pancakes (which are leavened) are great just with butter.
I had some chocolate peanut butter drizzle thing this morning. It was good but nothing quite beats the simplicity of lemon and sugar. It also screams pancake day rather then having a posh crepe or brunch pancakes at any other time of year.
