So what? It’s their national hero. They have public holiday on his birthday. Anyone with minimum knowledge of Ukraine knows that.

I don’t think this is the right time to take up talking about that issue.

We Croats relate to Ukranians so damn much.
We even had our own Azov/j.
The “denazification” of Ukraine is an obvious and weak excuse made by Putin to justify war over influence and resources.
However, even pre-war Ukraine was quite far away from the ideal democracy with spotless past. They had strugless with rampant corruption and less practices not up to democratic standards.
But most importantly their attitude to their history as nazi collaborators in large-scale genocides is unacceptable. After war Ukrainian side will have to show a lot of good will to excuse that.
>They have public holiday on his birthday
Bandera’s birthday is on January 1st. So we indeed have a public holiday on Bandera’s birthday, and it’s called **”New Year”**. You know, the same as in Poland.

Smells like Russian propaganda.
Wasn’t Bandera in German jail during WWII?
