  1. Ateriakomponentteja.Valmiiksi työstetty naudanliha = hakttu lehtipihviksi ja

lisänä maustevoi. Ei kilohinnassa mitään ihmeellistä. Työ maksaa.

    Pihvi on sentään 250g.

    EDIT: in ENG

Meal components. Ready processed beef = chopped into leaf steak and plus seasoned butter. Nothing surprising in the price per kilo. Work pays. After all, the steak is 250g.

  2. Pre-cut steaks have always been a ripoff. Just buy a bigger cut for a fair price and cut it yourself, shave off literally half the price.

  3. I don’t buy any meat from the supermatket anymore. I buy from REKO. It’s just a smudge cheaper, but everything goes to the producer, which is the main point. And the quality is sublime.

  4. if we look at the environmental impact of beef, it is a good thing that it’s price is very high. when less people can afford it, this planet of ours will live a little longer.

  5. A lot of people are lazy and will pay the premium to get a beef steak from the nearest alepa even with such ridiculous prices just for the convenience. But with this price you can already get full meals for cheaper off wolt which makes me wonder who are the consumers the companies are targeting here…

  6. well, do you actually need beef tenderloin? I have always skipped “prime meat” for past 10 years as it is always over 30€/kg soo, it has been overly too expensive for regular consumption. For protein atleast

  7. Price gouging isn’t the right term for this at all. This isn’t after some sort of a supply or demand shock and this product definitely isn’t an essential commodity/a necessity.

Instead, it’s a product for “rich” people who have the money and the willingness to buy something like that. There are expensive products in basically every product category. What a pointless post.

  8. Good. Meat should be expensive, it has been too cheap for years because the actual environmental costs are not included in the price of the product. You don’t need to eat meat and you certainly don’t need to eat steak to be healthy. For you it’s one meal, for the animal it’s its whole life.

  9. Man I go to shop and I think next month I will be hunting with bow in the forest for food. This is a fucking not okay with all this prices. Everything is fucked up.

  10. Atria is selling their sirloin for about 27€/kg at the moment, so this product has an over 100% markup just for hammering it flat and putting in some seasoned butter.

Gouging or not, it’s definitely priced way way way up just to get people who want to eat something “fancy” but without skills and/or time to make it themselves to buy it.

  11. Buy seitan instead. Much more healty, climate friendly, helps the Baltic Sea and of course much tastier and cheaper.

  12. That happens when your government governs for the European politicians interests and not for the PEOPLE interests

Finns and Finland’s resident first, should be the goal here, but is not like that.

But hey! Sanna Marin is nice, so powerful woman, sensitive crying on tv and snorting cocaine with her famous friends while cheating at her husband is not bad

  13. This is no basic stuff. Very limited target audience and low circulation, hence half of them go waste and that virtually doubles the already high price.

  14. At this point I’m pretty sure they’re just randomly raising prices with the excuse of inflation and see if anyone buys them.

  15. When I moved here in 2015 I still found the meat prices comparatively expensive to Norwegian prices. On beef especially. Minced meat was the exception though.
That equation has changed since then though with the insane price changes over there.
