Met this cutie for the first time in Brussels last night! Anyone knows more about her?

  1. That’s a microlino! An electric car made in Switzerland.

It weighs 500 kg, can go 90km/h and has a 230 maximum range.

The manufacturer promotes this as ‘ something between a car and a motorcycle’. It costs around 15 000 euro.

  2. Seems like a nice addition to the cambrio fleet for big cities.
But I wouldn’t dare to ride it outside the city centre

  3. This “car” is the bane of my experience. It’s a Microlino (aprox 15.000€ starting price per “car”!!!) the Belgian supplier will be Volkswagen D’Ieteren. The car is not yet in full production. A little over 40 have been pre-sold in Belgium last time I heard . (I shouldn’t reveal how I know that considering I have nothing nice to say about it) I hate those things with a passion.

  4. Most negative comments are about the price but I don’t know if that’s so high in price. I mean compared to combustion engine cars it’s expensive but not for a full electric. If you want an electric bakfiets you’re going to spend 4000-7000. The Citroën Ami drives 50kph with a range of 75km at a base price of 8999. At least this one drives 90kph with a nice 230km range, which means you can drive on highways and actually get somewhere with it.
The next cheapest small cars are around 30k.

  5. I just looked up the prices of second hand ev’s.
God you must be an idiot to buy this.
You can buy a zoe or leaf for 5-10k less and stick a new battery pack in and still have more features than any microcar will ever provide.
Or even smarts if you want the small formfactor.
