In a country that only just got the independence back a group of young (and not so young) people made a skit show. To promote the show – they have created a medley song (mix of well-known local songs) and shot in-house (literally) video. Locals enjoyed it for some time – who wouldn’t when your daily life most likely involves alcohol and you’ve been repressed for ages.
Nineties, what a wild times!
Freedom from soviets is happening. At last artistic souls were able to express themselves without a fear of prosecution from government or kgb
Dope
They don’t make such crazy, creative and cool stuff anymore – something both boomers and zoomers can agree on!
I’ll still need the actual lyrics, thanks for the context of the song!
Okay, I don’t know why, but I did it. Some context: Bentski show is what this show is called, Zita is a female name, Masėnas is the guy’s last name, and no it does not make much more sense in Lithuanian. As others have mentioned it’s kind of a mix of popular songs rewritten to be a bit funny. Here you are:

Such a quiet evening, I feel so good today
We’ll sit around the table and sing a little song
Maybe we shouldn’t, maybe we don’t need to? (we need it, we need it)
Then at least let’s first call Zita (Zita? yeah)

Maybe she’s a blonde, just like the little crow (here she is naked)
Then we’ll see what she does at the table
Maybe we won’t, maybe it will be dark?
Please turn on the light, because I’m already scared

I’ll help, I’ll help
If you call me I will definitely help
If I can, and I can
I’ll sit at the table with the guests

I’m Masėnas, I’m not a shame
Everyone in my yard knows me
I’m so alone, oh so alone
But I will come, just call me!

I wanted you to
Come back at least for the holidays
And at least once you could come back
On time
Because I’m not a plank
And you’re not a chisel
So I am firing you from your position

Why me, why me?
I’m standing here locked in the balcony
And it’s cold here, and it’s cold in here
I’ll dance if you let me out
And if you don’t, and if you don’t
I’ll eat all the cabbage in the barrel
And it will be scary, very scary
Your family will definitely die of hunger

A pig is running through the (?)
Dad is chasing mom
A gang of kids has come together
To watch Bentski show

Bentski show, Bentski show
Everybody’s watching Bentski show (x3?)

Sitting at the table,
Holding our hands
Wiping a tear away,
Let’s drink our glasses!

Having had a tasty drink
Only after eating together
We can feel brave
Because this day is ours!
