He is supposedly minister of digitalisation and does not understand social media. He wants the citizens of Belgium to only discuss politics on a government built and maintained forum. I know my views are coloured because I am anti government but he is literally the worst of the worst.

The dude studied communication and has no background in IT. We might as well get a homeless guy to do his job, he’s just as qualified.
There are a few strong Belgian companies in that field. Keyrock, Ngrave, Bit4you… Even in web3 we have a few strong players, though I doubt that is still a thing.
And Belgium recently shot itself in the foot by getting rid of copyright benefit for programmers. So if we want to keep these companies or get more of them, it makes sense to create a special status.
However…
It’s the old Belgian attitude of really bad general rules, with exceptions for some. Why not improve fiscal rules in general?
