There is a website called ee24 and I just came across this 49.000 € apartments in Cologne.
Is that a scam or is it real? I have no idea how scams work in Germany

  1. What makes you think this site is legit? Looks like some scammy Russian site.

    If it is real, could be that it’s not possible to force the renter out even if you want to live there.

  2. I mean it’s in one of these not very attractive 70s apartment blocks. These kind of apartment are probably the cheapest on the market.

    Property transactions in Germany are done by an public notary. As long as you don’t send any money before you‘re instructed to do so by the notary there’s not much risk involved.
    Thus the risk is just that you waste your time if they are bogus.
