Hi everyone I’ve recently moved to this apartment and have noticed this thing going the radiator. I have never seen it before, anyone knows what it is for?
Sensor for the thermostat on the radiator would be my guess.
Voice-activated thermostat, an older model. It will respond to commands in danish
Word of caution, the wire is actually a pipe under pressure. Bending it can cause a puncture, effectively breaking the thermostat for the radiator.
Daisys listening device.
What could it have been besides a thermostat? I can’t think of anything else you would connect to a radiator like that.

we call it *d a n f o s s*
Plumber here. Its a remote/external thermostat. Instead of having it on top of the valve if the radiator is covered as an example. Then there would otherwise be heat build around the valve/thermostat combo which would cause the radiator to turn off before the room is heated. This allows the thermostat to be placed anywhere the “wire” kan reach.
As someone states, the connection wire is filled with a gas. The gas state is how the temperature is measured. Breaking the wire will cause the gas to leak. This causes odour but is not specially dangerous or anything. Dont inhale it purposefully thi.
It is a hidden camera receiver. All the hidden cameras sent the recording to that device. The device is uploading the recordings to the owner.
