  1. Of course he will not answer as is the same policy that has been followed by all other corrupted politicians and their political parties. Remember case of Vgenopoulou, FOCUS, Russian oligarch that funded Anastasiades , companies that funded DIKO, EDEK, DISY, AKEL , etc. We need to change the roots if we are to change the fruits!! https://christofides2023.com

  2. Literally called this “why do you think this guy is being vague, preferring the status quo?” Is what I asked yesterday, yet so many people here are going to vote for him.

Our overlords prefer their profits Christodoulides loves to work for overlords. This is not just Cyprus but the system we live in. It’s just more out in the open in some parts of the world. Considering they can fool majority of the population, play into their nationalistic tendencies, and social views, we are indeed doomed. This is what Erdogan, and Tatar does very openly. After the all the passport scandals with the whole government involved in it how is this party not shutdown and all its candidates and members removed. But even if we removed them new faces would pop up to act as servants to billion dollar companies.

  3. Checking your posts, I see a strong anti christodoulides stance. For once in this country I want to see candidates and their supporters to actually promote the good that they can do instead of throwing dirt at their opponents. Once.
I for one, I’m voting Christofides. For me the ideal candidate, unfortunately, because he is not part of the system (one of the many reasons to vote for him) he won’t go anywhere.

  4. >According to the table of donations released, to date Mavroyiannis got €510,000 from Akel, plus €408,000 from “other donors” (amounts over €10,000).
    >
    >The “other donors” include an individual named Andreas Rialas (€55,000), a company called Masterstar Trading Ltd (€50,000), and the Cyprus Union of Shipowners (€50,000).

Christodoulides receiving a donation for his campaign: Shock! Horror!

Others receiving donations for their campaigs (including taxpayer money): No problem

I should remind you also that DISY and AKEL received donations from Focus, the people behind the collapse of Laiki bank:

    >Reports on Wednesday that ruling DISY and opposition AKEL received a total of €2 million from Focus Maritime Corporation, owned by Greek shipowner Michalis Zolotas, caused a storm in the political arena, given the connection to former Laiki strongman Andreas Vgenopoulos.
    >
    >Daily Politis revealed that €1.5 million was donated to AKEL and €500.000 to DISY – in late 2007 and early 2008.
