House for sale in Santry, Dublin (“Nothing from the Allied side? No, that sort of thing wouldn’t interest me at all”)

  1. I did say Jesus outload when I saw the Mary in the back garden. My wife of course corrected me 🙂

  2. I’m Spanish and I didn’t know any of this, it is fascinating. Before reading any comment, after zooming the image, I was like. Franco?¿?¿, it turns out that there was an Irish brigade fighting in the Spanish Civil War. The few documents and pictures shows just a bunch of soldiers so, that 1 person who came back and still hanging a portrait of the dictator sells the house (prob. their family) it is a casualty.

  3. Thanks for sharing this OP. Now the psychos on this sub can harass the family of some old person.

Maybe there’s another reason to post this along with a link to the address but I can’t think of one.

  4. Dafuq? What is Franco doing in Dublin? I’m Spanish and I’ve never thought I would see something so random 🤣

  5. Maybe the house was from a Spanish person? Is odd that someone would scape Spain to Ireland instead of France for committing war crimes as France is just so close
