Anyone else old enough to remember the M. KHAN IS BENT graffiti that used to be on a bridge in Bounds Green?
As a kid the ‘give peas a chance’ graffiti always meant I was nearly home after a long drive somewhere.
Just incase anyone else has a brain melt, Network Rail are responsible for the costs and are not lying about them.
I hate graffiti like the ones in the photos. They’re the most low effort shit ever. It’s just spraying a few letters in plain normal font and even in a plain black colour apparently. It’s just lame. At least with the stuff that requires skill it can be okay to look at as long as its not just a tag.
I bet removing the easy to reach stuff costs an unnecessarily high amount too. For the easy to reach bits it should just be as simple as sending 1 or 2 people out with a tin of paint and a brush and sheets and let them go over each bit in seconds. But instead im sure theres planning involved, sending out a couple of people with a couple of vans parking on the pavement at the start of the bridge because theres nowhere else and then thats their job for the day then they go home.
