Mosin Nagant Model 1944 (M44)

A delicious moist nugget
Wow nice
The rifle is a mosin nagant m44. Its a carbine used by second line troops but occasionally front troops aswel.
However…it is russian. And was issued late in ww2. February 1944.
The date of 1944 does seem to somehow match. And the crudeness of construction remained untill after ww2. But its very odd as these weapons were very late ww2.
So i have some questions.
1. Where did your grandfather fought? Was he russian?
2. Is the weapon still operational? If yes you are not allowed to keep it unless you register for a license.
OP posts history is kinda wild. Dude is deep into drugs.
Mosin nagant,
Funny enough it’s handed out right now in Ukraine. A weapon from 1891 (last produced ’73)
Grandad could have bought it in luxembourg before the ‘80s (‘87 i believe).
Mosin’s are still dirtcheap , but can’t be imported anymore due to legislations .
Hell , even 10 years ago you could buy a “nagant” revolver at any belgian weaponsdealer because the ammo was prohibited to sell.
But, a small trip to luxembourg , and you could buy hundreds of rounds for 0.5€ a piece.
