The DUP are gonna throw the toys out of the pram and take the ERG with them. Sunak’s too weak to control them so I’d give it till Friday for total Tory meltdown. It’d be funny if it wasn’t so infuriating.
You know what they say, 3rd time in 5 years is the charm.
I’ll say this from a Brit perspective, the DUP will shoot this down hard and the ERG in Parliament will hammer Sunak out of number 10.
It’s not a happy time in the UK right now.
So this is a compromise in the UKs direction, right? Leaving Northern Ireland outside the EU market but with easier acces, whereas before it was just inside it, and outside the UK market. Am I reading this right?
