This is the Hungarian orange, it may be a little yellow, it may be sour, but it is ours.
Could be posted in r/Engrish for “tomato’s”.
These ain’t no tomatoes! Wtf are they?! 🤨
Daily eurofederalist obsession with the UK.
I get that Brexit was an all around bad call from the UK but let’s not pretend that the EU isn’t deliberately making life harder for them because they left, like a gang that wasn’t paid protection money.
Describing British cuisine in one picture.
“Produce of Narnia” *rem acu tetigisti*.
This is surely going to improve the current discourse and bring people together.
There are tomatoes in every supermarket I’ve recently visited.
What is that face in the bottom left corner?
We ran out of turnips, actually
Anybody remember the recipe of Baldrick’s Turnip Surprise?
That doesn’t look like tomatoes i’ve ever seen.
Product of Narnia… might as well be
🙄 honestly this is so unbelievably stupid
We left, it happened, everyone just needs to move on
Top tier stupid, just get over this already.
Note that “The New European” is a **british** newspaper pro-remain. Otherwise I think for most of EU, we don’t really care anymore about brexit.
I enjoyed a bit of brit bashing in the beginning. But it lost its charm very quick.
I’m not sure if I’m more amazed that the New European is still a thing or that it’s being posted here unironically, it’s up there with the Byline Times as a load of batty tripe. People who buy this are a bit odd imo
Is it me or them who is confused as to what a tomato is
Not a bad price for a bushel of tomatoes! Or turnips even…
I like the little drawing of a Thérèse Coffey turnip in the corner there, that’s a nice touch.
We joke of course, but the turnip and basil sauce I’m developing for pasta is really coming along nicely.
My wife has even stopped crying when I ask her to try it.
Those aren’t tomatoes though, looks like radish that has overstayed its welcome.
“they got their cuntry back” said the orange idiot.
They made Britain great again! miserable, but greatly so.
“Produce of Narnia” lol
People in the EU enjoy this sense of superiority that is just unmatched. (while most EU is an actual shithole and it’s only getting worse).
