cant say im surprised, her death is happening against a back drop of near constant attacks on trans people. There is some very real threats to trans people, and honestly the entire LGBT+ group at large.

I am so fed up with seeing the trans issue being use to divide people, and I could so easily stop commenting on trans issues because of it, but I am going to make an effort, and try and post helpful things. Speak out against or confront the bigots, even if they are in the media, or the Government.

Seriously there are real people who are hurt by the anti trans backlash, and I dont want to see them hurt.
We’re not supposed to be discussing trans issues on this sub.
But, ignoring that, these are exactly the sort of services that need to exist. I wouldn’t be that surprised to see the far right come after them next.
If you wonder why Transgender ‘Issues’ are not banned, as it was supposed to be – here’s a summery what happened.
The Meta/ Announcement / Rule Trial post was removed from sticky, locked and everything, apart from Rule 2 and forward was redacted / removed.

Future generations are going to be shocked and appalled at us when they look back at how we discuss and treat trans people today.
