  6. That is pretty fucked up, the lynx population is small to begin with and was already dropping over the last couple years. Having a cull now just to please some rich hunter folks with good connections to the government is just utterly fucked. It also leaves a lot of room for speculation about the Swedish political system in general if political descisions are made this way.

  7. We have 300-500 lynx in Slovakia I have never heard of them attacking farm animals or bothering anybody even though they are concentrated in small portion of carpatian mountains. Having 850 lynx for the whole Sweden is fucking idiotic
    Edit: by the way I live in the very same mountains and hike nearly every day and I have seen 1 lynx in my entire life. They are extremely shy animals.

  9. Why the fuck would you want to hunt those. They are the most magestic fluffs ever.

    I have seen one in a nature once and its one of the most breathtaking nature animal encounters i ever had. And i have seen a lion too. And swam with mantas, but that was scary. They lynx fluff just got me. Also the one I have seen had a white winter coat, so double wham!

    Why can’t they move them instead. I mean that’s what we try to do with bears.
