Luminus does math: what a coincidink

  1. They pulled the same shit with me. Suddenly they realize their temporary interest free loan is running out so they decide to fairly price their deposits. I’m getting over 2000€ back from them as well.

  2. They seem to be notorious for making wonky estimations. Had the same last year.
They estimated I’d have to pay them around 300 euros. In the end they owed me 550. They managed to get it wrong by 850 euros, despite me entering my (then still old meter) readings every month.

Atm I’m waiting for my next end-of-year bill. According to their estimations I once again owe them around 300…

  3. Yep xD. Went from 500 to 140 to 130 a month now. Their correction was only 10 less from what I had already manually changed it to last month. Glad this 500/month shit is over with because that hurt.

  4. Free tip from someone working in security: there are enough tools publicly available that can reveal what you crossed out in yellow. If you really want to hide something from a picture, just cut it out.

  5. This is normal. Variable prices decreased a lot since the start of your contract, so now the final bill will be significantly lower than expected. So they adjust the monthly payments to reflect this.

I hate companies like Luminus just as much as everyone, but there are plenty of valid reasons to do so. People calling advances a “rent free loan” live in some fantasy world in which they think it’s normal to receive a product for a year and should only pay the supplier at the end of that year.
