  1. It’s the beginning of the month. Billboards are sold from the 1st to the end of the month.

My guess is that either the billboard had no bookings last month, so they have it to the cause, or whoever had the booking let them show the visual to commemorate the war anniversary for a couple of days.

  2. One produces profit and the other is activism, and activists seldom have as deep pockets as corpos to put ads up.

    Also fuck iGaming.

  3. It was not within 48 hours. The Anti-Putin billboard has been up for more than a week across the country. It was funded since its been one year since the war started.

Billboards for iGaming companies are common here. This has no correlation or story to it.

  4. First of all .. who put this up ?
Malta is a neutral country and also at the moment has a seat on the security council.

    So
    A. This is very inappropriate. Who put this up is saying fuck you Malta, we have no respect for your sovereign position.

    B. We have a right to know who is behind this. Who paid for it and why.

In the meantime, many of these have been sprayed painted with ‘lies’.

Malta learned the hard way what happens when it become a ‘qahba’ of foreign powers. With our history this poster is insulting and abusive.

And Malta ceased to exist as a nation while its territories was used to attacked and oppressed nations around the world. Malta was also the world second biggest brothel during this time, a far cry from being a bastion of crusaders against the world conquering ottomans who threatened to wipe out western civilization.

The world biggest brothel was the Philippines btw coz the yanks were over there, over paid and over endowed.

If anyone feels strongly against Malta’s neutrality, he should go and fight in Ukraine or for the Russian side for that matter.

Personally I am far more concerned about Cyprus for example. And I can mention many more conflicts that are more relevant to Malta.

  5. the Putin billboard is till up in santa lucija and someone sprayed the word LIE on “Innocent Civilians”

  6. Plenty of Russians in Malta. Ironic considering they look down on everything EU don’t you think?
