The most offensive thing about that sketch is how astronomically unfunny it is. The racism is just sprinkles on top.
The angle of “it’s a critique of chinese authoritarianism by playing with chinese stereotypes” doesn’t hold up at all in my opinion. It’s not really “playing with stereotypes”, it’s basically reducing it down “oh you’re ok with perceived authoritanianism you must be chinese ahaha” hence the criticism is definitely warranted, in my opinion. *But* I think noone would care if it actually would be funny. The lack of humour just makes the problematic elements very obvious and less excuseable.
That being said, calls for censoring it are ridiculous and ironic, especially given the (though very clumsily conveyed) subject matter of the sketch.
