The governments of Europe have become sneakier than last year, and this is just a way to effectively close the entire horeca industry without having to pay them anything, as they’re just cutting back hours. I was working in a small cocktail bar, and there isn’t anybody who buys cocktails in the afternoon obviously, so I’m basically out of work without benefits, and the boss is down to being open 15 hours a week. It’s grim.
I’m coming home for Christmas and was looking forward to going to a pub again and meeting my people, it was the only thing keeping me hanging on. Oh well, maybe next year.
