We currently have a family of lynx in our local forest – 2 mins with the car from here. Ive seen some footage from camera traps, so adorable! Hope they wont get shot.

Plot twist, even swiss animals are wealthier and have Golden horns and claws.
For years now there have been several established wolf packs in Switzerland, not just “single animals that cross the border from time to time”.
Switzerland: “Let’s eat all of them.”

Ibex was basically extinct in Switzerland for a long time. It’s kinda crazy.

Anyway, a good time to remind people that a lot of species in Switzerland are in danger of extinction, lots of birds, fishes, etc. Even the lynx due to poor genetic diversity. So please do your best to help preserve them so that future generations will still be able to observe them!
