  1. A contest probably would have made the membership happier and kept the story in the news a bit longer but I think this is brilliant for them. Hopefully they can continue to grow

  2. Is she the youngest leader of a political party in the history of the state? The only other one I can think of is Seamus Costello but he was 35 when he founded the IRSP

  4. Would be happy to see her build a decent left leaning party. Since labours fall from grace it’s a very fractured niche.

  5. Would like to see them rejoin Labour to be honest. And then for that group to join the Greens and maybe pick off some of the more sane independents

  6. They really missed a chance of some publicity by not dragging the leadership contest out for a few days atleast
