I’ve seen videos of them pulling tiny babies out from the rubble, and some videos where those babies are alive thanks to their fathers/siblings covering them with their own bodies. How can anyone think like this? When my husband was 16 and on his way to the mosque he was shot in the eye with an air rifle, and a year later attacked by a group of 40+ men. His sister has been attacked recently with hammers by a group of women so she no longer wears her headscarf so as to not be identified. I think people see increased Muslim populations in the UK and assume that big changes have taken place but nothing has really changed.
The numbers are in the tens of thousands. Some will have died almost instantly as the buildings collapsed on them. Others will have suffocated slowly in pain and alone, unable to move, trapped alive in coffins of dusty rubble. Sometimes people will have survived after days of being trapped, only to have to learn that their loved ones didn’t make it. It is a truly wretched, appalling tragedy.
I suspect a full grown adult wrote the letter and what a hopeless, cruel little mind they must have.
Something about this feels off, as in it seems too blatant

It’s bad but, I’m honestly surprised a letter written by a sad angry person gets so much air time. It’s a letter. The police should investigate, I don’t think I need to see the headline 10 different times.
It’s almost primary school levels of ridiculousness. Like a teenager saying “I’m glad your nans dead”.
Ironic as that Mosque is known for being inclusive of other beliefs. I am sure they’ve held event for Christians and even shamans. The (I guess Iman) of the Mosque has a very sad story behind him too, search for Erkin Guney on Shaun Attwood podcast.
