I thoroughly dislike Lee Anderson. What is really worrying is that there will be many people who agree with his outrageous statements and will vote for him, I just don’t get how society can be so callous.
If he wont/cant give out the posters what does that mean for the funds the lib dems spent on the printing? would be a funny case if they could sue him for breach of contract. I mean it wont generate much other than memes
Plenty of people agree with him on those. They might not say it in those words of in polite company, but the Mail, Express, and The Sun are popular papers because they support this type of nonsense. It is what their readers want to hear.
I understand Anderson has asked the Liberal Democrats to enclose the printer’s invoice, so he can claim it back on expenses.
I grew-up with what you might call red wall voters (socially conservative working classes), they’ll love the comments.
– Food banks, they’ll agree as their family survived on sweet FA because mam and nan could cook.
– Tenants, friends of mine have lived on a council estate and had problem neighbours they’ll support this 100%.
– Nurses, they’ll agree, nurses are ‘well paid’ (according to The Sun) or get more money than they do and they don’t use food banks.
– Death penalty, they’ll agree especially for nonces, rapists and murders.
Why isn’t taking the piss out of the obviously dumb cunt kind of stupid the conservatives attract is not a winning campaign?
Everyone here arguing over his outbursts are missing the point. He’s hitting _very_ emotion led issues that have little bearing over how we live our lives. That’s his game.
Batter him with the real world. With how fucked literally everything else is. Repeat again and again:
