Honestly just wish all the franchises went under and this whole thing gets restarted from the bottom up
Well… I get to WFH strike days which saves me £30 a time
I’m not losing personally… just saying (I guess many others like me)
It’s not a war between those groups.
The independent can fuck off on that headline.
The issue is between people who work on the rails and people who don’t care about safety or paying living wage for huge number of the workers.
& yes drivers aren’t badly paid, but if they fuck up and kill 150 doctors on the way to a conference, it would be a bit shit.
The “war” would be over if the rail companies simply gave into the strikers demands.
Feels to me like stakes and risk corelated with taking strike action don’t exist where there is a natural monopoly, the state pays the costs from a bottomless pit of taxpayer money and the unions know and understand that.
