I’ve seen one of those not too long ago here in the western coast of spain, I was also surprised to see it. I put it somewhere in my home but of course as if I remember where I put it.

I love this about the euro. Whenever I’m waiting in a line I have fun examining the coins and trying to guess where they are from. Some are easy, like Latvia, Spain, Germany or Ireland, but there other that are actually difficult when you don’t actively go out of your way to figure them all out.
This is pretty surprising. Here Latvian coins are the most common followed by Lithuanian, German and French Euro coins. Estonian coins are pretty rare for some reason. Irish coins are extremely rare.
