Looking at the past 20 years CS’s scandals, this one is mild (yup, I read the article)
Don’t get me wrong, it’s either stupidity (seriously you have Brexit, a falling £ etc. and you don’t look at your positions in the UK ?!? that’s peek WSB lvl 😀 ) or corruption **and** stupidity (not enough supervision and I don’t mean spying on your employees…)
The bank is too stupid to program an app that shows you the summary of all payments you entered.
It’s the most basic skill in banking: Collect payments and then show the summary. When they fail so hard at the basics, how can they master the real challenges?
Just add it to the list. As if there’s any shred of integrity in this business.
Wow, that’s some serious news. It’s always concerning when big institutions like Credit Suisse are found to have breached their obligations. I hope they take the necessary steps to rectify the situation and prevent it from happening again in the future. Thanks for sharing this update!
