I assume they started building it and it became too expensive and finished building it?
That hill seems cursed. Most of the buildings there were doomed to fail. The older buildings were not built well and succumbed to cracks due to the clay beneath. Not to mention the abandoned hotel at the top, the many abandoned restaurants that dot the area, and the other abandoned buildings (old and new).
the building is cursed, it has been sold off to contractors to be demolished in a few years. the problem is that it resides above a late cemetery, probably why its cursed in the first place
I asked a local there once and they said that the company was building part of the structure on private land owned by an old lady. She didnt do anything with it but didnt allow anyone to build on it. When they offered to buy the land, she refused and basically now everyone is waiting for her to pass so that her children can inherit it and sell if off.
The writing is real neat ! What does it say ?
The first big monstrosity built in Xemxija. Built in part private land. As the first it increased the height build along the street and now in the streets behind.
