The Tories have shown how much they hate this country over the last 13 years. They deserve absolutely nothing less than electoral annihilation.
If this is a possibility then Starmer needs to be prepared for a media onslaught like no other. You think Corbyn got it bad? Starmer will face worse unless the likes of the Mail and Express switch to backing him, so Starmer is going to need to be able to counter them without hesitation if he wants to be seen as competent by voters.

Unless Starmer introduces PR in his first term, Labour will likely only get one more term under FPTP, after which we’ll revert to another 20 years of Tory mismanagement
Brilliant news. The Tories have failed so badly that they deserve to be permanently removed from power in the UK.
They need to be replaced entirely and everyone who ever worked for them needs to be permanently unemployable.

I mean, I want the Tories out as much as the next person, but does anything ever really change? For the better I mean.
I’m happy the Tories will get what they deserve but I’m not crazy about Labour having such a huge majority. Proportional Representation needs to happen, people who vote for Minor Parties deserve representation in the Parliament and to be more included in decision making. More voices makes for better outcomes..
I’ll believe it when I see it, heard this for years counter to my own experiences.
Then Labour keep loosing elections.
And yet with a few scary headlines like that, a few own goals by facets of the Labour party and some “sensible and very affordable (/s)” bribes from the tax and spend departments come actual voting day we are left holding our breath.
We don’t even get to see much shift in innovative and well thought through policies. Just a generally less odious slightly more democratic government.
Don’t do it; it’s a trap. If you vote you’re simply excepting the abuse. We need to stand together across the world, in one voice roar we’re not taking this shit anymore….
They left us to die with covid for the economy not to slow down too much
They stole our taxes to give to their friends/donors in overpriced useless PPE which cost more lives and they bought a superyacht
They stole more taxes to give their friends the pointless test and trace contract
They allowed fraudulent covid loans in the Billions of £ then failed to pursue this criminality.
They laughed at us as they broke the rules we were made to follow, many, many parties.
Finally we got rid of Boris the Butcher and in response we had Truss-onomics that cost the country upwards of 30 Billion in 40 days
Inflation and cost of living is out of control, due entirely to the governments lack of action on energy prices.
Every other neighbouring country has done far better than us in recovery and have not suffered the exponential price increases we have.

I can’t see Labour lasting long. They’ll reintroduce mass immigration at a time when there is a serious housing crisis.
We don’t need another majority government of career politicians eager to spin their take on the new levels of corruption the Tory party introduced.
That’s 18 months left for the press to sabotage them.
Labour need to focus on just winning in the first place and not getting distracted by getting greedy and overstretching themselves.
If Labour win and don’t salt the earth with the current voting system to stop the Tories ever getting back in it’s all going to be a total waste.
The Tories don’t exactly wanna win this next election. They’re not trying really hard and are making themselves unelectable. Which is fine by me.
Tories consider changing constitution to remove regular general elections.
Maybe the Tories bringing up attention to Partygate again wasn’t really the big win that they thought it was. But it is sinking in to more and more people that the Tories aren’t a Party of competent Government.
The prospect of the Tories not only losing power but losing so badly they implode is one of the few things keeping me going recently.
Good thing the election is imminent, and not a year away.

Considering that they’d be left with only 84 seats, and that number is still going down, it’s entirely possible that the Conservatives might end up with a complete wipe out.
Which probably means they won’t be calling a General Election any time soon.
