Totally agree. Click bait weather reporting. According to a host of them we should be under another “beast from the east” for the last few weeks. It’s such a crock.
I got a push notification last night that snow was going to batter the cou try today.
I’m still holding out hope
Its the tabloid media that keep getting away with it, they have been talking about beast from the east since last November. The likes of Dublin Live, Galway Beo, Irish mirror etc.
Yea what was the story with the yellow weather warning they issued for last night and today? Sure it’s lovely out today…
It’s an absolute disgrace.
It snowed up in the northwest this morning. They just don’t have any form of communication to tell us it happened. Well not until the stagecoach makes it’s return journey next week.
It is getting a bit ridiculous. We’re having the nicest day I’ve seen this year so far, in North Wexford at least.
We make slush puppies
In fairness, most of it is the tabloids. Met Eireann probably said there’ll be some snow. The Sun / Daily Mail / Irish Mirror / Dublin Live etc – “BEAST FROM THE EAST 2.0 EXPECTED THIS WEEK – BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES – HIDE YOUR KIDS HIDE YOUR WIFE – CANCEL EVERYTHING.”
It’s all the Irish Mirror and The sun, not met eireann…
Yellow Snow Alert.
Do not eat Yellow Snow
Gheobhaidh mé lá amháin iad.
Snow joke lads ffs
I’m fine with this. Because the last time it snowed in March it was awful
