I have a reasonable level of French and Luxembourgish … yet reading the RTL site’s info on the new tripartite results tells me different info depending on which lingo version I read .
[RTL in French states that the state will compensate for index this year](https://5minutes.rtl.lu/actu/luxembourg/a/2036853.html) … [RTL in English says only one index](https://today.rtl.lu/news/luxembourg/a/2036850.html) for this year .
Am I too drunk on Alice Hartmann or are our friends at RTL so ?

RTL have a very vague way of writing articles, which is very frustrating.
Will we have the long-promised index on April 1 (which was postponed from last year)?
How is the tax credit proposed to compensate for the other indexes due in 2023 going to work?
I wonder how often the government can say that there is no financial room for reviewing the tax code but then spends 500mil on election year tax credits, 500mil on tripartite “solutions”, 300mil on Arcelor HQ and probably over 100mil for a real estate company bailout or yet another bike bridge.
Ridiculous.
This is really RTL-esque….
So , as i understood:
– Index on 1. April will be paid -> the one reported from last year.
– I think there’s another Index coming mid year IIRC
– The one they talked in Tripartite, is the one from october. Will be paid, but compensated to employers until January ’24
– Index system fully functional in ’24
