Fine by me, it’s a public space after all. Only tinfoil hat Schwurbler are against this measure.
People hate on train conductor often, but I have travelled in SBB trains for decades and almost never had a bad experience with them. Meanwhile, I regularly encounter travellers who are complete assholes or at least self-absorbed dicks. If you have problems with conductors often, chances are YOU are the problem.
Guet so
I’m definately seeing an increase in controls on the routes i travel, including the plain clothes inspectors on the yellow postbuses. Thing is they always catch somebody, fare dodging must be massive.
Also see the police loads now, especially on the Leman express which crosses into FR next to Geneve. They come as a CH/FR team, usually at least 10 of them and a dog or two.
They always grab a person or two also, usually a youth with tracksuit trousers and a louis vuiton bum bag across the body. It’s like a criminal uniform.
If I’m seeing that just travelling a couple of times per week it must be a huge operation.
schaad
bah more surveillance and invasion of privacy, at least for once its not internet surveillance, still very unhappy
How about they get more trains and build new lines instead.
These trains in the thumbnail have been outfitted with video cameras and air conditioning 10 years ago.
