Georgia must be one of the most pro-EU countries I’ve seen
They have a long road ahead, but hopefully we will be able to welcome our Caucasian brothers into the EU soon enough.

Can someone explain what is going on? I’ve not heard about this situation bubbling in Georgia.
Not to be a downer, but Ukraine would rather join EU than Georgia. Ukraine is to be estimated 10-15years IF drastic measures are taken. And before Zelenskiy it was not even an option. So. Georgia… Well.
I hope that Saakashvili gets freed soon. He has been tortured a lot.
People living at the borders of Europe are the ones who more forcely want to be part of this union, this is because they are scared they’d be out of the cool kids club, the whole concept of European union is intrinsically racist, there are the human rights/democracy lovers (aka “whites”) and the rest of the world that is out of this “garden” as Borrell said (aka subhumans)
