Today I heard that March is most depressing month in the year what do you guys think?

  1. I am loving the weather in Poland so much. It is cold, snowy, and rainy. Like I enjoy

  2. November is way worse and I hate fall so much more than any other time of the year.

  3. Not a fan, and I’m a Pole. I’m a meteopath, so this is extra strenuous on me. Especially during sudden weather changes.

  4. Once we are past the Christmas holidays it’s all a cold loveless world 😭

  5. the worst month of each year is the month you are still alive and unable to break free of this everlasting mortal pain

  6. March for me is the most depressing. It’s the last month in deep winter. Everything is brown, dry and muddy, fewer sun, we can’t tolerate it anymore. But then appear the first ‘pączki’ in bushes and trees, sun appears, and back to happiness. At least until the hay fever triggers.

  7. I hate March. A treacherous, capricious month that can’t be trusted. Post-winter, pre-spring, it just keeps me hanging on. At least January and February, everyone dislikes those and expectations are low. But March promises much and delivers nothing

  8. A reason to live in Poland? Easy! It’s called “zurek” and its happiness in the form of a soup.

  9. Eh the whole winter season here in Poland is shit. We used to get a lot of snow years ago so it was semi-nice. Now it’s just gray, dull, and cold out. I can’t wait to be in a position to only spend summers here and be away from here for the winter time.

  10. As the spring started to appear many may think that a change in weather may improve their mood, but if nothing changes, one may think that the situation is even worse, maybe.

  11. For me it’s January and February. Would never even thought of march being the most depressing. It’s the beginning of spring after all and usually isn’t as cold and gloomy as January and February.

  12. Have you tried December? The shortest days ever! That month should be illegal.

  13. March is fine. November, oh man, I usually go on vacation to a different country, it is very bad then.

  14. “Send me a reason to live in Poland”

…going back to Brazil and live on a much worse unlivable wave?

    Enough reason for me lol

  15. I can say for sure, if you are born in march, this year you will either have snow on your birthday or have snow melt

  16. Drink beer and eat pączki and it’ll soon be over. Or… you know… get a hobby or two?

  17. The most depresing time for me in poland is summer. I hate this sahara. I enjoy march as long as I can.

  18. Crazy nice town squares in many cities.

    Beautiful landscapes in rural areas.

Being able (for some) to get good salary and still affordable life.

Variety of good restaurants from around the world.

    Women.

    Wrocław.

Yet, I do not live in Poland due to fucked up duopoly in politics and the air quality.

  19. Not sure… March can be great…. remember March 2017… amazing warm and summery weather in Poland…

For me it is more… life gets more and more depressing …year by year… Lol, getting older is no fun 😉

  20. The whole winter time in Poland is depressing. Long nights, not enough light, cloudy, windy and rainy weather, low temperature, no snow, no leaves on trees, almost no sun. But March is a nice month as Spring comes and life is blooming again. It can be cold, but days are longer, you can actually feel that anticipation in the air. I can’t smell Spring yet, but it’s near 🙂

  21. I have birthday in March. Maybe that explains why I’m such a mess

  22. Well I’ve been feeling anxious for the past 3 days for no apparent reason so I guess in my case it may be true

  23. We live in Poland cuz in about 10 years we will be a global super power, first to unite the earth under 1 country, by 2040 all of earth will be polonized

  24. For me march is when it starts to get better, actually. And this one started great so I can’t complain (besides the cold)

  25. For me it’s January or February. In March there’s hope that this is going to end soon, sometimes it feels like spring.

  26. If this is truly from Poland, written by a Polish person, why would it be written in English? Or is someone trying to make Poland look bad?

  27. Isn’t that in the vicinity of Północny bridge in Warsaw, tram route 2 and 17?

  28. With winter, by my definition, stretching from late September to April, actually February is the absolute fucking worst. In March days already become a bit longer and the weather sometimes a tad bit warmer. If you’re lucky, you’ll see some sun. In February I am so overwhelmed by this everlasting darkness, greyness and cold that I have no will nor desire to live.

  29. I think every month is the most depressing month.

    I think I’m depressed.

  30. Yes it is, reason? My birthday, every fucking year, can’t we just move on to April and forget March?

  31. Depends on the weather. I remember back in 2019 the weather in march was nice and it was warm and sunny.

  32. March is not the worst. It’s difficult but it’s definitely a transition month like september, between the seasons.
Winters in Poland are recently warmer which means gray and snowless.
It used to be so snowy from november to march when i was a kid, we were shoveling snow even in march. That did happen sometimes.
Now not anymore, there’s barely any snow, definitely not enough to cause any problems.

I think for me the worst is either november or february with an accent on february because november is right before christmas and a lot of people have bdays in oct/nov time so it can be fun regardless of the weather.
    February is just so dead.
