The only way my company would be able to close its gender pay gap is to fire all the lower paid woman and hire lower paid men to do their jobs.
How have these people not yet got it through their thick skulls this is pissing into the wind? A 15% difference between men and women is already absolutely tiny, why are they on a crusade to hammer it down to zero?
Whatever policies you come with to hammer it into the shape you want will do more harm than good. It’s unbelievable you can have such imbeciles in government.
So, how does this gender pay gap exist?
I’ve a female colleague, she’s paid the same as me, unless she does overtime can I assume it’s unfair and demand more money? Or is it my fault for having not worked the hours? And, that’s where the gap exist, men simply worked more overall hours, the only way you’ll close this gap if you paid women more based on their gender, also final question, what the fuck is a woman? Maybe the review can explain that question as well.
