A friend of mine once met a guy from Latvia who fought there. The guy said that he’s still struggling with PTSD from the war and it’s hard for him to forgive himself for what he had done there…
Can’t even imagine how much it mustve sucked. The feeling that you’re fighting for the wrong side mustve been insane.
Some of them did a lot of job to made a Latvian National Armed Forces from scratch, years later.
