The city is in a “vegetative state”.

  1. Squash is a New World plant. What was it called before Columbus?

  2. I know it’s a joke, but it’s a pet peeve of mine that we have two cities named from the same Latin root right next to each other.

We basically have Gdańsk and Gdańsk 2 – Underwater Boogaloo. Both are named after Gedanensis, a fancy Latin word for swamp.

I’d be much happier if we merged the two cities (read: stopped pretending they are separate) and renamed the whole to Gedania or something like that. At least it sounds original, instead of Tricity. You guys know how many Tricities there are in the world?

  3. And you know what? I love my pumpkin city. Wouldn’t want to live in any other place.
