Once I’ve been married for 3 years I’m able to apply for a Dutch passport. Does that mean I could lose my citizenship??
And so the “hostile environment” continues in another guise.
“The problem is that many EU nationals did not apply for indefinite leave to remain, simply because they did not need it to enter and reside in the UK. Why apply for something you apparently don’t need?”
Strong Windrush vibes there.
This short-sightedness is going to bite them on the arse. What about kids born of Brits settled in Europe?
The government is getting WAY too comfortable stripping citizenship.
