  1. Oh how I wish to have that average salary of approx. 22 099PLN a month LOL

  2. I think it might not be far off since it’s based on job offers with salary reported in ads, and the only salaries disclosed in offers are for IT specialists

  3. hahahaha!

Every single Polish person trolled the surveyors. Brilliant!

  4. What a crock! No way is the avg Aussie salary equal to 84k USD.

  5. Lol. Soon the posts coming in asking if 100k USD is a livable wage in Poland

  6. The most probable explanation is that they didn’t convert the currencies. Currently it s 72 269,88 PLN (16 329,78 USD). With Australia they probably did the same.

  7. Maybe they just assumed that the currency in Poland is the Euro. And for Australia, the person making the stat didn’t know that Australian Dollar is not the same as US Dollar.

In any case, that makes the whole stat and indeed the whole website totally untrustworthy.

  8. Maybe it’s from an alternate universe where Poland was never occupied or had its citizens killed

  9. 25800 PLN a month on average? I need to have a talk with my employer.

  10. Delete this site, + how can you compare that to costs of living? 15k net/month. x fck D

  11. i know next to nothing about statistics and yet i can see it’s bullshit

  12. Average salary in Poland is roughly twice the minimal wage. I don’t know anyone who earns even close to the Polish average and that includes my sister who is a teacher – you know – one of the most demanding and with the most responsibility jobs known to men.
It’s the perfect example of wealth inequality (nobody earns the average, just a lot less or way more) and a proof that you can prove anything with the right statistic.

  13. A quick reminder that a major part of data you see on the internet is fake, and this is one of them

  14. Just read the description and all will be clear. These are based on salaries provided in job ads. Since in 2021 barely any job ad provided any information on salary… and if it did, it was a highly paid job in IT, hence the results. You are welcome.
