All of these things make perfect sense from spain

  1. So, this guy’s clearly an idiot, but also. The doorknobs. Why are they sometimes in the middle of the doors? I genuinely don’t understand.

  2. I’ve only been able to watch until number two. What kind of braindead stupid moron could say US plugs make sense!? They’re a fucking trap!

  3. Another episode of an American discover a country outside the USA. But he is young, who hasn’t been surprised by “weird” but actually not so weird things abroad?

  4. Half of these are not even true, I live in Spain and we have cold milk and doors with the handle on the side and dryers.

  5. Just another American who thinks their country is the centre of the universe… Who the fuck travels to another continent and gets surprised that the charging outlets are different?

  6. Bro hes so dumb he couldnt even figure out how to use that cart. And he just assumes that because he sees these things wherever he is that they’re like that in the whole of spain

  7. Anybofy understand what he means on the seating bench saying he only wants a bike? Aren’t there benches in the US or what?

  8. 8.bruh you don’t need to refrigerate that milk until it is opened…
Most of this is him just not understanding how things work.

    2. Electricity in europe is not the same voltage as the US, if you were able to just simply plug something in you are going to destroy a LOT of appliances. Actually it would be better if the US switched away from 120v.

1.Hanging clothes to dry saves electricity, can leave clothes smelling fresh

7.Smaller cart because…..you don’t need more food. There’s a reason carts in the US are so big and people are so obese…..buy less food. Eat more fresh food not things that you can store for weeks.

6.Grocery store in a mall? WHy would you NOT want that? You get to have centralized location where you can have everything you need. That’s the idea of a mall isn’t it? Be able to do all your shopping in one go? We just took it to the next level over 9000 and included groceries in that.

    3. door knobs…..yeah idk either.

    4……you skipped 4…..

  9. Not a Spaniard, but all of these things exist in Indonesia too except the bench bike and it’s totally make sense.

    American always complaining about everything.

  10. American in Spain here.

Shelf milk is fine (ultra high temperature pasteurization), it’s the shelf eggs that got me at first. In the US they have to wash the eggs with chlorine to kill salmonella, so the protective natural coating is destroyed. In Europe and elsewhere they vaccinate chickens against salmonella so the egg doesn’t need to be washed and still has a protective coating – no refrigeration needed.

The shopping cart thing (that particular model he shows) is the only thing I agree with. I am fine with small rolling carts, but that particular style is the devil.

My only complaint living here is how hard it is to find cleaning supplies that don’t smell like industrial waste with flower scent added.

Anyway, if he lives here he’ll come around. Beautiful country.

  11. The only thing that doesn’t make sense to me in this video is “1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7”. Don’t Americans know what “4” is? /s

  12. If he can’t use a shopping cart correctly I can’t imagine how he got to spain with his suitcase.

  13. Bless.

Why not have groceries in a shopping centre?
    Milk is uht.
Outlets are not universal. You need the right adaptor for your region.
The bikes benches are free mobility exercise.
Those doorknobs are not everywhere but also who cares.

He’s a hundred percent right about the shopping carts but the average height here is not 6ft.

What Spain does have: universal healthcare, sunshine, and much safer compared to the US.

  14. hola, as a german living in spain, all of these things make sense accept for the doorknob in the middle, that really confuses me.

  15. Guy obviously is an idiot except for the cart and milk. The carts in many supermarkets are simply way too small and the milk- well if you are used to a store that sells fresh milk you will be disappointed in Spain

  16. I mean the only thing that doesn’t make since here is the door knob in the middle of the door becaues scientifically speaking you’d need twice the force required to apply the same torque since the distance from the hinge is cut in half making it unnecessarily harder for everyone to open the door.

  17. – it’s not a Spanish plug socket, it’s a european one. I think more countries use that socket than the US one.

    – no, not all door knobs are in the middle of the doors and neither is that something normal. Also some doors have that but it’s not a door knob in the sense that you twist it, you simply use it to push the door open as you unlock with your key.

    – it’s not warm milk for Christ sake. It’s long life UHT milk. In Spain it’s not normal to drink fresh milk like it is in US or UK where you have 4 different types of fresh milk on display that expires in 5 days. They are two different types of milk. Once it’s home, the carton you use goes in the fridge and the rest are stored.

    – shopping trolley situation is normal, the average Spanish person isnt over 6ft and nowhere near that. The average male and female in Spain are a lot lower so yes, considering this young adult from the US is very tall so he is going to experience awkward moments like that.

    – bench cycling is for the elderly who cannot simply grab a bicycle and cycle around town. This guy obviously doesn’t know that it is very normal for elderly people in Spain to go outside and sit on a bench all day. Watching people by, reading a book, chatting to a friend or cycling on the bench. It’s a very cheap and simply exercise that is healthy.

Basically – young American goes to Spain and tried very hard to become a tik tok influencer and I’m sure he’s successfully achieved it because the average American could never say whether anything he says is true or not, heck the average American cannot even say where Spain is on the map.

  20. As a dual US/Spanish citizen, the only thing I can even remotely agree with is the doorknobs, it’s strange for me to not have a handle on doors, just a tad easier to open but not the end of the world. The rest? My goodness this kid sucks

  21. Charging outlets in EU don’t make sense because they are different from USA? Have you ever seen how stupid is your metric system kiddo?
Well I guess the biggest shock for him coming from USA are sidewalks and people using legs to walk anywhere, should create part 2 for it.

  22. why is everyone so angry. im spanish snd it’s not that serious, just interesting differences, it’s fun to see how things that are completely normal to me are a whole new world for others.

  23. I think you guys are being too harsh. Sure, he’s kind of ignorant but he’s a young guy and he doesn’t seem to be talking shit. The fact he left his country already says something. He will probably learn more about the world. A significant number of Americans don’t seem to even want to leave the US.

  24. Este niño es subnormal, no hay otra manera de decirlo.

    “TiEnEn EnChUfEs DiFeReNtEs!” Madre mía
