Can’t help but roll my eyes at drug arrests. There’s so much time and money put towards policing what people can and can’t put in their own bodies that could be used to stop proper criminals. We just need to grow the fuck up, move past this silly idea of prohibition and stop funding genuinely shitty crime with outdated drug policy.
I used to fly out of LAX quite a lot. TSA were not great. One guy forgot who I was and which were my bags when he was actually in mid conversation with me with his hand on my bag. I thought he was having a stroke!

I’m thinking about how many people’s lives will have been wasted in jail when we inevitably legalise some of these drugs. Will we ever get past allowing out of touch rich people to create the outdated laws that govern our lives?

I just don’t understand why drugs especially cannabis are illegal.
On the street it’s legal in everything but name. It’s easy to get and almost without consequences to 99% of the users and a big chunk of the dealers.

Why would they bother for the low return on ganj when cocaine would have better cash/weight ratio, considering the high risk of getting caught smuggling on an international flight?
What kind of dickhead expects to get away with smuggling that much green through an airport?

It should be legalised and regulated. I personally think it’s mostly harmless and had no issue with anyone smoking it or selling it…however these folk knew fine well it’s illegal to bring it here, completely their own fault
