  1. It is not really fair to start at 1900. At that point Europe was more than well underway industrializing and was economically dominating the world.

Would be interesting to see what it was 300, 500 and 1000 years ago too.

  2. Massive changes and immigration in Europe incoming; especially due to climate change as people in Africa won’t have the resources to survive. As Europeans we have to help.

  3. Africa needs to slow down unless they sort themselves out a bit ngl. Also climate change will affect them pretty badly

  4. This strikes me as a strange and poor place to start the timeline for an actual historic account. Populations are fluid, and Africa has had a larger population than Europe through many points in history. Guarantee right-wing jokers would use this pictograph to push some weird white scare agenda.

  5. My 10 year old son’s height is currently 138 cm. Last year he was 131 cm, and the year before he was 124 cm. On average, he’s growing 7 cm per year. By the year 2060, he should be about 4 metres long.

  6. At least Europe was always more or less self sufficient in food, but much of Africa today is dependent on food aid, which isn’t a good situation to be in.
