Boris Johnson should face ‘repercussions’ if he misled MPs, Labour says

  1. Suspensions! Fines!
2 days off when he was already not planning to attend parliament and £250 (one less bottle of 10 year old Beujole that night).

  2. A KC on radio 4 last night was suggesting the consequences might range from having to apologise to the House, to a (*gasp*) 2 week suspension from the commons…

  3. Is anyone else more pissed they’re sitting with bottles on bollinger champers. I mean the parties are also horrific, but there shpuld be a inquiry into public money funding these 😅

  4. He was off his tits in a KGB agent’s house, then made his son a Lord against the advice of security services. But sure, lying about it is the only thing that could possibly have consequences.

  5. He should be facing trial for knowingly endangering and killing 200k innocent members of the public due to his negligence as PM.

He’s the biggest mass murderer this country has ever seen.

  6. He doesnt need to be pubished. Boris will always be associated with the Tory party, and this will further damage the party come the next elections

Losing to Labour in 2024/5 will be punishment enough

  7. Tory recruitment policy:
    – be dishonest
    – be wealthy or corrupt enough to decieve others into giving you their wealth
    – disbelieve in all laws and regulations applying to you or your family
    – have no care or regard to any fellow human

  8. Unless it affects how much money he can make on the after dinner speech circuit or from consultancy work, he won’t face any real repercussions. Johnson won’t return to politics for as long as he can make £100,000 for a speech or two to the right group. He will only come back if he can be Tory party leader or better, which is something he could easily achieve if Sunak wipes out at the next election; even the Tory-voting public will lap that up (on their own volition or if told to by the media). Johnson is one of those people who will just not be allowed to fail in life. It is tragic but he is just that safe in life, thanks to his wealth and connections.

  9. Man should go to fucking jail.

    Do not pass go.
    Do not collect $200.

Fucking go, directly to, fucking jail.

    Cunt.

  10. Shouldn’t need Labour to say this. Also, it’s not if he misled parliament, it’s when he’s found guilty of doing so, because he 100% did. He should definitely face repercussions, & Sunak should ensure that he does face them. If he doesn’t it’s another embarrassment for people of the UK. He really is as low as you can get…

  11. A month away from Parliament is a bloody holiday for Johnson. He will probably get some Lord Moneybags to pay for a trip to the Caribbean for the month.
