Helemaal niet ongewoon. De zachte winter die we gehad hebben daarentegen is wel ongewoon.

I remember a couple of years ago 1st of may was like a summer day, terraces and bars were full. Next day pack of snow, everything empty again.
Are you new here? Snow in March or April isn’t unusual at all, ~~and in the last 10 or so years actually more common than snow in december-february.~~ The last part is wrong. Thank you /u/timid_robot for looking that up.

In 2022 we had snow in april. And I can recall some memories of going camping in France during easter holiday, waking up to snow on our tent.

Yes, snow, stay inside, don’t dare to go outside today, Belgium comes to a halt when these kinds of snow blizzards pass our little Country 🙂

Hoewel het uitzonderlijk is dat er sneeuw valt in maart (of zelfs april), is het niet ongezien.
I’ll always remember when we had an exchange program with Italians who came over in late March/early april of 2001, only to experience every type of weather: snow, hail, rain, sun, fog. You name it, they got it. They were so utterly confused and baffled by that.
