Additional question is: are lanterns created every year from scratch or are reused next years?
Who refers to it like that? Just off the top of my head, there was [Running Fence by Christo & Jean-Claude](https://christojeanneclaude.net/artworks/running-fence/). At 29.4km it was pretty large.
The East Side Gallery in Berlin (ie the part of the Berlin Wall now an art gallery) is quite big, more than 1 km long. How big is the one in Basel?
