With a structural height of 336.4 meters, it’s the world’s tallest bridge, for comparison it’s a bit higher than Eiffel tower (330 meters)
How much time is actually saved by travelling on it?
It’s a great pride for the department. I went to see it when it was almost finished in 2004.
Would it not have been cheaper to launch the cars over the area with Trebuchet?
pic five had me thinking:
‘Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we shall call it…this land.”
“I think we should call it your grave.”
“AH! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!”
“Hahahar! Mine is an evil laugh…now die!”
“Oh no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!”
Designed by Norman Foster
It is a very beautiful bridge
I wonder how people who have fear of heights react when they drive on this bridge..
I am confused by the dinosaurs.
Would have been easier to flatten the hills
I remember National Geographic or the Discovery Channel did a documentary about it when it was being constructed. I was a young man back then, now I’m middle aged and miserable.
I’m jealous of the weather you had. I was there this January and the viaduct was mostly hidden behind fog.
Imagine your car’s brakes breaking down while driving through this bridge
I remember visiting this like 10-15 years ago. It was so impressive.
