This language sounds so confusing, i know it is german but why does it sound like a mix of Afrikaans, dutch and Yiddish? Is this a weird german dialect? if so where is it from?

1. Sounds like a mild Swiss German.

2. Could be either Swiss or Tyrollean. Can never tell which is which xD

3. It’s Swiss German as spoken in the Zurich area.

4. It sounds weird because it’s from the weird mountain people south of us.
