Not a single European project except their very own. SK and USA.
Shameful.
“IFVs tanks”, choose one.
Who are they planning to fight against
So much for european independance
I am really curious on how Poland plans to maintain this stuff.
With Abrams and K2s they will have 5 different tank models -> T-72, PT-91, Leos, Abrams and K2s
Even if you ship all the soviet tanks to Ukraine, you are still left with Leos, Abrams and K2s.
Same situation with planes: MiG-29, SU-22, F-16, F-35 and FA-50.
To me it just seems excessive especially when you consider, that Polish army is less than 150k soldiers.
Does Poland want to force Germany to pay reparations?
There are 3 “Lies” in this
1. 180 K2 tanks, rest is still in the process of negotiations
2. 212 k9a1
3. 96 Apaches was only a “ask request” to see if even we can buy them. There is nothing concrete about apaches yet
Also from what i know about Chunmoo, we will just buy the rocket launchers, trucks and a lot of electronics of it will be will be made in Poland
Rest is true for what i know
Edit:
There also is a lot of other stuff that is not on this list, like AA systems of medium, short and very short range, Space satellites, support vehicles, basic ass cargo trucks, some support helicopters
Good. In our position we should spend for defence same amounts as Israel does.
Whoever doesn’t want to maintain its own army, sooner or later will pay for maintenance of the invader’s one.
impressive, Romania has ordered Abrams tanks and HIMARs as well, I hope the government will soon realize that the South Koreans make good weapons as well and buy some from there more, and maybe make some production deals too, more jobs on the market are always welcomed
>Abram
>IFV tank
lol
a very loud statement, but where does Poland get the money for all this?
1000 K2- yeah, maybe. The deal is about 180 peaces produced in KOrea quite fast, and 800 K2PL MAYBE produced in Poland (so I’d cunt only that 180 for now).
**Mentioning 48 FA-50 without mentioning 32 F-35 sounds like a joke.**
they’re done of being the punching bag of europe.
IFV tanks… Facepalm. I can’t see anything else right now.
Am I the only person worried that Poland is buying this while Duda is in charge?
Plot twist….Poland invades Russian.
FA 50 is just a lovely aircraft.
Honest question:
How is Poland’s economy/financial situation for the state doing (asking on the bigger scale, like for the last five to ten years or so).
If Poland’s economy is growing and the state isn’t in too much debt this could not be a problem for them at all.
Idk shit about how they are fairing on that regard sadly.
They’re looking forward to the 4th ‘Partitioning of Poland’.
While its good that europe gets its armies in shape, 1.400 addional new main battletanks alone seems almost comically many.
Like France, the UK, Italy and Germany *together* have less than 1.400 modern MBTs *in total*.
I honestly dont see the military need for that many. Unless they plan to take on russia in a 1v1.
There is a horde of orcs from the eastern steppes of Mordor at the gates of civilization. Most of them don’t kill themselves but need some additional encouragement to die. This is part of that encouragement.
All the money in the world sitting in some coffers will not help, when the horde comes to loot and rape and raze.
TIL: IFV’s are tanks, lol
So happy to see that they had fun
Who is paying for it ?? Money for tanks but not schools
Are those confirmed and signed purchases or just purchasing options and the actual number will be much smaller? If those are done deal purchases, then my second question would be how Poland wants to finance that amount of purchasing and upkeep. Countries with significantly larger economies would have to adjust their fiscal policies significantly. Either Poland saved a lot of money and/or they’ve made the best deal possible or/and they plan for some serious deficit spending.

Hmmm
~~I’m no sure who made the graphic ,~~ [(The telegraph)](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/03/11/revolution-polish-army-builds-europes-largest-land-force/). It’s hoal is “look how much korean gear”.
In more accurate numbers from what I reat press:

**Himars- I think we’v**[**e ordered more**](https://www.euractiv.com/section/politics/news/us-to-deliver-himars-systems-to-poland/)**.** I know rgar US is not capable of producing that amount what MoD wants, that’s why we also ordered Korean Chunno (pretty similar peace of technology).
