Muscle pain was quite bad in the mornings as I couldn’t wash my face properly due to not being able to bend properly. Nothing serious out of it though. No breathing or / lung issues at all. Just had a fever, muscle pain and loss of taste / smell. 30 year old male, no previous health problems. Unvaccinated. Just to be clear, I don’t tell anyone not to get vaccinated. My parents are and they just got the omicron booster.
So I get the need to be cautious and I live somewhere where we’ve had stricter public health measures this whole time (masks everywhere inside, vaccine passports etc) and I’ve seen the value so I’m for them. But I also look at this and can’t help but think Boris is only really using this to take the conversation away from all of his shit.

Several media outlets have so far reported that 10 people hospitalized were between the age of 18-85 with the majority having 2 jabs but didn’t comment on the health status (particularly in the young one).
Secondly, with the media reporting that the variant is less severe in symptoms, this will surely mean that deaths and hospital admissions will be far lower than Delta if there was no vaccine at all or marginal with Delta with the vaccine rollout taken into consideration or the common Flu.
